What to expect?
This is the for 2018 Born Players who this season could be transitioning from open grassroots programs and preparing to potentially take the next step towards “development rep” and district competitive play. At the end of this season (September 2025), player selection will take place among those players interested in being challenged and pursue development at a higher and more committed level. To provide our U7 players with the exposure to what the next level could look like, these players have 3 sessions per week and will incorporate game & position awareness and structure for the 5v5 game.
Volunteer Parent Coaches & Managers are needed.
Three-Weekly Training Sessions:
- Tuesdays: Focus on ball mastery and skill development through dribbling, passing,
positioning, basic tactics and engaging 1v1 challenges.
- Thursdays: Apply skills in small sided games and exciting round-robin tournaments.
- Includes an additional training day on Friday nights from 6pm - 7pm with a UEFA licensed coach.
This fosters teamwork, teaches player roles, and emphasizes responsibility on and off the
field.
- Player of the week - Each week, we will recognize one player for each age group who
demonstrates exceptional effort, sportsmanship, and improvement on and off the field.
Key Features of the Program:
- Fun-Focused Learning: We create a fun, engaging atmosphere where kids are excited to
play and learn basic soccer skills.
- Skill Development: Players will develop fundamental soccer skills like dribbling,
passing, shooting, and ball control, using simple drills and games.
- Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Children will learn the importance of teamwork,
communication, and fair play through small-sided games and group activities.
What Kids Will Learn:
- Basic Ball Skills: Dribbling, passing, and shooting through fun games and activities.
- Agility & Coordination: Activities designed to improve balance, coordination, and
