Grassroots u5-u6 (born 2019-2020)

This program is for developing players and is designed for U5-U6  (Birth Year 2019-2020 )

The Grassroots program helps young players build a strong foundation in the game. The focus is on developing confidence with the ball, improving coordination, and fostering a love for the sport in a fun and supportive environment. Players will refine their balance, foot and ball control, and proper technique while being introduced to essential skills that will support their long-term development. As they progress, they will transition into our next-level program for developing players (U7 Pre Festival), where they will continue advancing their abilities.

Our Program provides 1x weekly sessions and will include a fine balance of activities, development, and small sided games.  

What Kids Will Learn:

- Basic Ball Skills: Dribbling, passing, and shooting through fun games and activities.

- Agility & Coordination: Activities designed to improve balance, coordination, and

overall fitness.

- Team Play: Working with teammates, sharing the ball, and understanding the importance

of supporting one another on the field.

- Confidence & Enjoyment

The sessions themselves are run by our Jr. Coaches and guided / supervised by a Volunteer Parent Coach and Club Program Coaches.

Space is limited to keep player to coach ratios effective for this age.  

Location: 2640 Argentia Road, Mississauga

Days of Week: Thursdays at 6:00pm - 7:15pm

Start: Thursday, November 13/2025

End:  Thursday, April 30/2026

Cost: $250 per player 

What Equipment does my child need?

Soccer balls will be provided for training.  Players should come dressed in their athletic or soccer outfit - and wear cleats or turf shoes suitable for the indoor turf surface. Don't forget a water bottle and shin guards for safety.

What parents need to know?

- Only coaches (Club Technical Coaches, Appointed Parent volunteer coaches, Youth Coaches) are permitted on the training fields. 

• Parents are spectators who will have designated areas to watch from and socialize during the training session
• Absolutely NO SMOKING on field areas

• ALL REFUNDS are subject to a $100.00 administrative fee. (CREDITS will not be subject to a $100.00 administrative fee).
• 50% refund will be issued if refund request is made 15 calendar days prior to program start date
• 25% refund will be issued if the refund request is made between 14 calendar days and 1 day before the program start date.
• There will be no refund/credit of registration fees once the program has started.
• All Refund requests / withdraw from program requests must be made in writing to: treasurer@croatianorval.com
