Grassroots U8 Girls (born 2015)

 What to expect?

As we did not form or field a competitive girls team at U8, the 2015 Girls will continue their skill development and game awareness throughout this season. The bi-weekly 60 minute session will consist of various skills exercises as well as small games. For players in this group who wish to take their game to the next level an additional U8 - U10 Skills Clinic is being offered on Saturday mornings. More info here.

The sessions themselves are run by our talented senior youth players and are guided and supervised by the Grassroots Academy Staff Coaches.

Details about the program:

Space is limited to keep player to coach ratio effective for this age.  

Location: Norval Home Fields (9118 Winston Churchill Blvd, Halton Hills)

Days of Week: Tuesday & Thursday at 6:15pm - 7:15pm

Start: Thursday June 1st 

End: Thursday August 24th

$250/player

What Equipment does my child need?

The registration fee includes a training jersey, shorts and socks. Soccer balls will be provided for training and will be handed out for players to keep at the end of the season. Players are required to wear their given uniform as well as shin guards and outdoor grass cleats.

What parents need to know?

Only coaches (Club Technical Coaches, Appointed Parent volunteer coaches, Youth Coaches) are permitted on the training fields. 

• Parents are spectators who will have designated areas to watch from and socialize during the training session
• Absolutely NO SMOKING on field areas

50% Refund if requested by May 15, 2023
